    ·         Personally Owned Vehicles (POV’s) can now drive up & unload in a designated “POV” Area at the loading dock – not in the street.  POV’s can be self-unloaded.

    ·         A flat POV assistance rate (optional) of $35. per cart or $100. per vehicle

    is now offered to include in and out with NO OVERTIME CHARGES.

    ·         NO FORCED LABOR REGARDLESS OF BOOTH SIZE.  Exhibitors now have the ability to install and dismantle any size booth using their employees.

    ·         Your employees can bring in and install your own floor coverings or booth carpeting

      -even use your own power tools – open & seal your own crates – AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.

    ·         If you require labor to set-up, tear-down, OVERTIME RATES HAVE BEEN ABOLISHED.

    ·         An additional side chair has been added to each 10’ x 10’ Deluxe Option Furniture package.

    EXHIBITOR CONFIRMATION & HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:

    Exhibitors will receive an Exhibit Space confirmation packet

    complete with Guestroom information, directions and a

    Service Manual (furniture, electric, telephone, etc.) upon receipt

    and approval of your Exhibit space assignment.  A selection of Hotels

    with group guestroom blocks range from $79-$139.

     

     

    ARRANGEMENTS, INSTALLATIONS  & DISMANTLING:

    Rules and regulations of Police Security Expo 2010 are listed

    on the Exhibit Space Contract.  Exposition Management

    shall have  the authority to interpret and enforce all rules

    in the best interest of the exhibition.  Exhibitors must be in place

    and fully assembled by 9:00 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2010

    and ready for the Expo’s opening.  Dismantling may

    not begin until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. 

    Vehicles must be in place by 10:00 am on Monday, June 21, 2010

    and will be given first move-in preference.

    AEX Convention Services is the official Exhibit Set Up-Dismantling

    provider for the 24th Annual Police Security Expo 2010.

     

     

    EXHIBITOR RIGHTS:

    Hand carried Exhibitor equipment can be brought in through

    the Convention Centers front doors.  There is no labor charge

    for self-propelled motorized vehicles on display which can be

    moved in and out of the Convention Center under its own power.  

    “Exhibitor Rights” guidelines regarding setup & dismantling will be

    included in the Exhibitor Service Manual.  All labor in connection

    with installation , removal or maintenance of the Exhibition, when applicable,

    must be performed under the jurisdiction of the appropriate unions.
